Analogpitch - Color (Serum 2 Preset Pack)

Color is a 106-preset pack for Serum 2, fun, inspiring, and built for experimentation. It’s packed with sounds that are quick to drop into a track but deep enough to keep exploring over time.

We continued to work with Serum 2’s new arp engine in this pack, like we did with Evermore, creating different approaches to movement and rhythm. The monophonic arps are designed to be used with a single note, giving you evolving, sequenced motion that can feel hypnotic and driving. Building on that idea, we added Arp (Play Chords) presets. These are tailored to follow full chord progressions more smoothly, so you can add motion across harmony without clashing notes. And of course, there are plenty of normal arps too, which you can play however you like, on melodies or chords, depending on the kind of energy you want in a track, though sometimes a touch more sporadic than the Play Chords arps.

Beyond the arps, Color includes a broad range of keys, pads, leads, plucks, and basses. The keys move between simpler tones and more evolving textures with subtle movement, continuing on from and expanding the favorites from Evermore that stood out. Pads stretch wide and lush, evolving beautifully over time. Basses this time around include not only punchy, reliable foundations but also options with extra movement and texture, so they can sit upfront or further back in the mix and add a layer of uniqueness to the whole track. Leads and plucks cut through with clarity and expression, versatile enough to shape into your own. Use only the presets of the pack to create lovely, melancholy ambient tracks, or layer them with your favorite acoustic piano, guitar, or any other instrument that could benefit from an added depth of color.

Every preset comes with mod macros you can interact with to shape the sound the way you like. Use them to push things further, dial them back, or just explore different variations as you write.

Important: This is a preset pack for the Serum 2 VST plugin, not a standalone software. You need to have an up to date version of Serum 2 installed in your DAW to use these presets.
